Q: Is the Zephyrhills Public Library part of the Pasco County Library System? A: The Zephyrhills Public Library is a City of Zephyrhills funded facility. In 1999, the library, together with the Pasco County Library System, formed the Pasco County Library Cooperative in order to offer residents of Pasco County a broader base of services. The same library card is used at the Zephyrhills library and the county libraries.
Q: Does the library have fax or copy machine service? A: The library has a self-service copy machine. Copies are 10 cents each. The library does not offer fax service.
Q: Does the library offer computer classes? A: The library offers computer classes. Check the library's programs for the next class schedule.
Q: Does the library have internet computers? A: The library has six public access computers that are connected to the Internet and are available on a first come, first served basis. Individuals under 18 years of age are required to have a signed parental permission slip on file at the library. Permission slips can be picked up at the Information counter at the library.
Q: How do I get a Library Card? A: Pasco County residents, employees of Pasco County Board of County Commissioners, persons paying property tax in Pasco County, and qualified reciprocal borrowers are eligible for a free card. Proof of residence must be furnished when you register for a library card. Acceptable forms of ID include:
*Unexpired Florida Driver’s License *Florida Voter’s Registration *Pasco County Property Tax Receipt *Personal Checkbook *Utility or Telephone Bill *Florida ID Card *Certificate of Residency *Cancelled mail in your name *Pasco County Business License *Pasco County Employee ID *Pasco School ID
If you do not have acceptable ID with you, borrowing privileges will be limited until acceptable ID is presented. Ask a staff member for further information about limited borrowing privileges.
