A request must be made prior to six months from the issue date of the permit. Only one extension request will be granted for a period of 90 days, and there is a $15 charge per trade processing fee.
Because of the volume of inspections, we are unable to provide an estimated time of arrival for our inspector; however, his normal field hours are from 7:00am - 3:30pm. If the inspection has been carried over from the previous workday, the inspection will be given priority on the morning of the next work day.
All construction needs to be permitted whether the job is considered "minor" or not. This is to ensure safety, quality construction, and code compliance.
