As a homeowner living along Founders Rd., the Lyme dust bowl of Pasco County, I am perplexed as to why only half of this road is paved and the other half is a potholed, Lyme dust nightmare. During winter, when we don’t have a daily rain shower, the entire neighborhood is coved in this dust, especially when cars go flying through here at 40 plus miles an hour. We have even had semis come through and no one seems to care. We have spoken with government officials already and they tell us the residents don’t want a paved road. HALF THE ROAD IS PAVED! Several homes have gone on the market because of the dust. A neighbor is currently battling terminal lung cancer. What will it take to improve the air we breath in this neighborhood?
