Administrative duties for Oakside Cemetery are handled by the City Clerk, located at City Hall at 5335 8th Street. Administrative duties include:
Oakside Cemetery, owned and maintained by the City of Zephyrhills, was deeded to the Oakside Cemetery Association in 1911. Later, the association passed the property to the city. This cemetery is the burying ground of veterans of six wars in which the United States of America has been involved: the Civil War, Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
With approximately 8,511 burial plots, 840 cremation spaces, Oakside serves as the resting place for hundreds of the community’s deceased residents and many prominent and historic family members.
Full Burial Space
In each full burial space, the following is allowed:
OR a combination of one casket andone cremation
In each cremation space only one urn is allowed.
Care and maintenance of Oakside Cemetery is the responsibility of the Parks and Recreation Department.
