This project entails the installation of approximately 8,000 feet of 12 inch water main along the east side of Fort King Road, from Simons Road to Phelps Road. Additionally, multiple fire hydrants and other connections will be installed along the entire route with the ability to serve future residential growth.
This project will also connect two dead-end water mains allowing for improved water circulation and fire flow demands.
This project entails the installation of approximately 10,500 feet of 12 inch reclaim water main. The project begins at 12th St. and County Road 54 East, going west down County Road 54 East to Dairy Rd., north along Dairy Rd. to Daughtery Rd., east along Daughtery Rd. to Wire Rd., north along Wire Rd. ending at Kossik Rd. and Wire Rd. Initial purpose is to use reclaimed water to irrigate the Zephyr Lakes Subdivision.
The City of Zephyrhills is doing a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) upgrade to make it an Advanced Water Treatment (AWT). The benefits of an AWT is to strip the water of unwanted nutrients like nitrates and phosphorus. This will provide Zephyrhills residents with a better quality of water for their irrigation; and a better quality of water for the environment.
